I cannot recommend these chairs enough! The frame is aluminum and the seat and chair back are made of Trex deck material. Virtually indestructible!

This chair and the entire surf city dining set is perfect. It's durable and attractive, comes with an outstanding warranty, and coordinates very nicely with Trex decking.

I wasn't happy with this purchase. When the chairs came the legs were all bent. It was packaged in a thinner box so the metal legs just completely bent. Also the clamps you had to screw in back didn't go in nice. There was a half inch space that just didn't put it together well. The quality of the chair was not good.
