The Vego retractable hose is much easier to manage than the wind up hose reel we use to have. It stows conveniently off the ground and swivels to let me extend it towards any area of the landscaping that I wish to water. It eliminates tripping hazards that were always present with the hose laying on the sidewalk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased as a Christmas gift for my daughter -- she put it up this spring and says it really has changed how she does yard work. The reach of the hose and ease-of-use makes it easy to get through daily watering. She installed it on a post and said it was pretty easy and that it really "cleans up" the clutter in her yard

We purchased two of these - mounted one in the garage and one on a pole outside. Both have worked wonderfully and I need to utilize almost the full length. No issues retracting, they make things so easy! We mounted ours a little higher than normal to allow the hose to clear some landscaping and it is working well.

We have been struggling with hose that was very difficult to pull out, linked frequently, and was heavy and very difficult to wind back up. The Vego Retractable hose pulls out with ease, has not linked once, and slides back in effortlessly. The shut-off mechanism makes it so easy to turn on and off. We are so happy to finally have a hose that is easy enough for an 84 year old woman to use! It is also unobtrusive and easy to reach hanging on the deck railing.
