I had ordered the pergola extension kit at the same time I placed an order for the missing screws to the Pergola that I purchased from Wayfair and sadly waiting on those missing screws to finally get delivered for my handyman to finish the job he tells me this kit is cheap plastic and you should return it.. He said it would be unsafe. The 30 day return policy is terrible especially for outdoor weather sensitive projects. 1 star because 0 stars was not a choice

Not easy to install but seem sturdy.

The extension kit works well but it seems to make the pergola move a little bit if you lean on it vs. if you just install it with the standard parts. It's probably because it's so tall.
