This extra large market umbrella is perfect for our outdoor pool patio. It provides excellent shade, is easy to open and close, and feels sturdy even on breezy days. It looks great and has made our space much more enjoyable! The base (shown in picture) comes with a cloth cover on top, instead of plastic. We placed bags of rocks inside the base instead of sand, but it is working well and I don't think a cloth cover will be a problem.

This is a large umbrella that will provide shade for an entire seating group or dining table. It is easy up and down with a safety pin to assure that it does not slip when open. The umbrella itself is sturdy and the unit is strong not easily susceptible to tipping. This is important as we get wind gusts through our valley. The base could be more attractive but when weighted it does do its job effectively. Overall, we are happy with the purchase.

Not thrilled with it. The size is good. It provides good coverage. The material is thin. Not sure how long it will last. The base is cheap looking with thin vinyl covering for the rocks, bricks, or sand to weigh it down. The cord to open and close the umbrella could be longer.

The umbrella is very large so I cannot open it all the way in my home when I place it outside I will update the photo. The material is thick but the poles that hold it up are very fragile so I’m afraid if it rains or the wind is very harsh that it will tip over.

when we ordered it, I wasn’t expecting it to be heavy duty, it’s made well, won’t tip over easily, the base is heavy as well. Really big when opened, gives lots of shade. Looking forward to using it in the summer. We highly recommend this umbrella
