Love this umbrella! It beautifully compliments our swing and yard area. We have purchased other palapa umbrellas, however, most have shedded so badly we had to get rid of them. This umbrella is much sturdier and we have not experienced any shedding!

we are trying to create a Hawaiian setting back here and this is absolutely perfect. It looks like real Thatch, but it’s actually lighter than Thatch so it doesn’t put so much pressure on the hardware of your umbrella. But even though it’s artificial Thatch,, it’ll still hang onto water and keeps the dripping down. That being said there’s a little pin in the top. You have to make sure you put that pin in because your umbrella will hang onto water and can cause it to slip down if you don’t have the pin in.
