So I got this cooler for a couple reasons, one I really like the retro look. It reminds me of a soda branded product from my youth. It would have been red and white. But this is also perfect for a road trip I am planning with my son at the end of the month. We are driving from Ohio to Utah for a Car event and the car we are taking doesn't have cup holders or an easy way to have and drinks in the drivers or passenger area, so I got this to site between the legs of whomever is the passenger and we can keep water on ice for the drive. This will mean way less stops just for a drink. I had something similar for a cross country drive a few years ago, but I can't seem to find my old cooler, so now I have one that I plan to put some stickers on to make it look the part. Can't wait to use this. Now I am not going to mark the stars down, but I will make note of it. The bottom has a lip on it that the pain has created some rough spots and the handle if you are not careful could scrap your hand. I will say if this was made 40 or so years ago, no one would even blink, but this isn't the case. So please make sure not to scrap your hands or other body parts while carrying this. Side note, I don't have many bottle items that require a bottle opener anymore, but if I have one, this will make it nice since it has a built in bottle opener.
