These were surprisingly easy to assemble and feel very sturdy once set up. The only thing that caught me off guard was needing a few basic tools and about 40 lbs. of sand for the base. I’d recommend deciding exactly where you want them before adding the sand, as they’re easy to move when empty but much heavier once filled. Overall, a great product that feels stable and well-made.

These pool steps are not very sturdy. The step part is fine but any weight added to the railings and they will break. The instructions were awful and difficult to understand. The only adjustable part of this is the little plastic piece that is on the railings to attach them to the pool or the cement. There was a small hole in the part that holds the sand so when you’re putting sand in it’s comes out when you stand it up. I do not recommend these steps. Mainly for the lack of any support in the railings.

These pool stairs are seriously sturdy. I wish I knew i would need 59lbs of sand before starting to assemble them. However I can add that later easily. My only caveat is there is one screw for the handles that is impossible to get in without excessive force.
