I got this ladder for my above ground pool. The ladder that came with my pool is flimsy and unsafe so we needed something more sturdy and wider. This ladder fits those needs! Unfortunately I didn’t realize that I would need to add sand into it (makes sense) and so I haven’t gotten to put it in my pool yet. However, I can tell that it will be perfect. I appreciate the pattern on the stairs to add grip!

We have an above-ground pool and this ladder has been a huge upgrade from the standard pool ladder. The steps are much wider, sturdier, and feel much safer when getting in and out of the pool. The handrails provide extra stability, and the overall construction feels very durable. The only challenge during setup was adding the sand. It takes a little time and can be somewhat difficult to fill, but it’s absolutely worth the effort because it makes the ladder very stable once installed. I highly recommend using completely dry sand, as it flows much easier and makes the filling process much smoother. Overall, this ladder is a great investment and a significant improvement over the basic ladders that come with most above-ground pools. We are very happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend it to others.

These stairs are very easy to assemble. You will need sand to fill them to weigh them down and a funnel to fill sand into the holes. Once you click the parts together it is difficult to get them apart so make sure you have the sand filled and that you are assembling correctly.

This ladder was easy to put together, like a puzzle, and is very sturdy. Please note: You will need two of these for an above ground pool. The only thing we are having problems with is this ladder wants to float, even if you fill the rails. We found a solution by filling bleach bottles with water and tying them to the bottom. Do not use a milk jug because the chlorine in the water will disintegrate the jug

This is advertised for an in ground and above ground pool. It is much too tall for my in ground pool. To make it work, I removed the back of it and top step and now it doesn’t seem as secure unless I screw it to the pool deck. Also frustrated by the instructions. It doesn’t say how much sand to add and I must have added too much because it started coming out of small holes. I think this would work well in the right pool but definitely not my pool.
