The tabs that the step risers attach to broke and sand leaked out. I contacted Wayfair who turned me over to the seller, who never responded, so then wayfair re-contacted me. I have to remove the sand poured in for weight, and try to find a box in which to return it. This has taken more than a week and has been a huge, huge hassle! I bought this item based on reviews, but for the life of me cannot say anything positive about the stairs, the seller or Wayfield in the length of time its taking me to get a refund.

These stairs were so easy to put together I was amazed. Just make sure to follow the directions because we put all the stairs in when we were just supposed to put the first one on and we had to then take them all off which was a little trickery. We put the sand in them so they won’t float up like it says which was tedious but it will be worth it. I also love that they won’t’t take up too much room in the pool.

These are super nice stairs for the pool pretty easy to put together just a little bit of sand and youre in business.

I wouldn’t call this heavy duty- but it is much nice than the ladder that came with our pool. I am happy with my purchase. Also- you will need some sand if you want to weigh down the side pieces, which I recommend. I have two tips for installation first one- to make sure you put the white stair face on before you lock the blue step into place. Otherwise you have to pry the step off with a screwdriver and put it on. Ask me how I know. Second- make sure the brace piece on the back (piece “G”) is in the best position for your pool. I had to move mine to the middle slot which resulted in a very awkward and dramatic fight to remove the piece without taking the whole stair apart, and also trying to push the sides apart at the back to wedge piece G back in. It was neither graceful nor pretty.

These stair pools will be perfect for our above ground pool! It took about 25 minutes to put together, but I did mess up and had to remove it using a flat head screwdriver to lift up the step. Otherwise, seems sturdy, can’t wait to use it this summer.
