Great bench for the price. It looks nice on our porch and I was very pleased with the design and quality. The directions were not the greatest, but between my husband and myself we figured it out quickly.

So, it smells like cedar right out the box! Which I LOVE. Hopefully, it'll last long outdoors and repel bugs and mold etc. I'm going to use it in my garden. Once built, it's sturdy from all seating positions (left, right, middle), and I love the back and arm rests. I like that it's got a lattice vibe on the backing, but it also feels a little European which is my vibe. Now, for the cons, the directions clearly state to use the screws (number 3) for the centers but the holes are NOT drilled in the centers all the way through, because it's MEANT to say in the directions that the screws go on the outsides that I'm pointing to and NOT the middles, so they drilled the holes for the big bolted lags in the middle, just not all the way through. So I had to drill the holes myself and then it could be properly assembled. Common sense goes a long way with building this bench, not just blindly trying to follow the included instructions. For that, a knock of a star. It definitely made the job harder than it needed to be. My tools needed to complete this job (not just the screwdriver included with the unit) were a drill, proper drill bit, and a flathead screwdriver.
