Nice bird bath, I've seen the birds using it. As others note, it is made of plastic, but seems to be sturdy. Has four nice prongs that really hold it in the ground. **UPDATE** Second season coming to an end, this has held together very well. Most of the gold is gone, but it has held up and is still very sturdy. I'm very surprised (and happy) about it!
