We bought this at the end of last summer. While I realized that having white cushions would require constant cleaning. Washing them was not a problem and drying part however takes days and weeks sometimes. They are definitely not waterproof. The water soaks into the cushions. I have to constantly turn them so that each side dries. Turning out to be quite annoying. I’d say two out of the four cushions are like this. 

Comfy, attractive, good length for tall people.

They had some scratches. But nothing that was visible, it was all underneath.
