Seemed to be powder coated as when you put the weathervane together the paint comes off. The two screws to keep the rods together are just for looks. Bought it for my mom for Mother’s Day so she liked it is what really matters. Shipping was fast

Not very well made for the price. Couldnt get the compass part all the way down but we did get it to a point where it doesnt move. Used a hammer. I also painted the girl and umbrella so it would show up better. I like it but not 100 satisfied.
