It works perfect and birds love it

Oh how I love this!! I have another one like this, But the top doesn’t stay. The Squirrels likes to tip and spill the bird seed. This one the top locks and now the birds and squirrels can eat from the tray.

This bird feeder design is one of the oldest that I can remember. And it's old because it works beautifully, and birds love it. The one I am replacing is of similar design and lasted 15 years throughout the weather and sun. The lid on this one is ample to keep off rain and the length of the cord to hang it is adjustable. The pan that holds the food has those important drainage holes, as well as a place for birds to perch. The pan is a little deeper than others and that's great because the food doesn't go flying out when the birds take off. Overall, this is one of those perfect feeders for a perfect price.

A perfect find! This feeder is compliment to another one for my garden. I love the clear cylinder which gives me a window to know how much feed is still there, and my FAVORITE feature is that they included a hook to hang it on a branch. As far as volume of feed, it can hold about two good size coffee cups worth of feed. So, substantially smaller than my other feeder but still more than enough. I'll be curious to see how it holds up to squirrels. The paint finish looks to be durable against rust and corrosion. I also appreciate it's not a bright color, rather a brown that fits in with the landscape. All and all a good find.
