I bought this bracket to hang a vintage lamp that has been in my family for 40 years. It’s a really cool basketball lamp. I have plaster walls with brick underneath so I have to use concrete fasteners for hanging things. I measured. Drilled the holes. And I attempted to use my drill to put it up. Unfortunately because the bracket is a closed design I could not reach to get the screws flush and flat. But I also tested it and thought I had it in deep enough. However I was wrong and I woke up to a broke lamp. I was definitely devastated but knew my error. I should not have ever relied on it’s strength when I knew I couldn’t get in to fully screw in the screws. I think this could be a cute bracket in the right circumstances. So I guess the bracket is not to blame, so I need to make this review more fair because it was user error in this case. I would just highly recommend having a solid way to screw in the bracket knowing you can not fit a full size screwdriver or drill to get the screws in tightly.

Love this bracket!!! Perfect size for my hanging basket of fuchsia for my hummingbirds. Easy to install--- 2 screws that are included and a Phillips head screwdriver. Took 5 minutes to install and the hummingbirds were instantly there feeding!!!
