Although I loved this product at first, the Paint is chipping off top and edges after 2 months.

We ordered 3 of these for outdoor use at our new home. One of the first two we received had an irregular surface. Our exchange experience was smooth. Then the third arrived and also has an irregular surface from the manufacturing process; I plan to return and possibly exchange that as well, but all the extra work of repacking and arranging exchanges is not well timed as we are moving and trying to settle in...Meanwhile, I discovered that the surface is semi-permeable so it's important to be careful about what you decide to put on it to avoid staining.

Love this. It is small, simple and classic. Just what I was looking for.
