It notes that if you use this item outside that it will weather in time from sun, rain, and snow. It is suggested to bring the items inside if the weather is not suitable for wood. I have put it on my covered porch and it has stood up fairly well so far however, I will be moving into my shed once we get into the snowy months. The American flag design is darkened to match the dark color of the wood which I really like that design element. It is the perfect piece to accent my outdoor front porch while being patriotic!.
