Ok, first off the umbrella is huge which is great. It covers a whole lot of shade. A few screws were missing and the stand it comes with is not very good. I had to hold the umbrella for pictures as it kept tilting and falling to the ground if not held by someone. It was easy to assemble and the material seems to be made of good quality material. I just need to figure out a way to make it stay in place. I think it will serve its purpose but definitely plan to buy a better stand or sand bags.. Bogdan. US. Thu Sep 03 2026

This is a nice umbrella, accurate to the description and pictures. I was not aware that you have to buy the base separately so that’s the only down side. The pole seems sturdy and made well. The beige color is really nice in person. I’m happy with it!. Anonyme. Wheaton, IL. Fri May 30 2025

We ordered this umbrella to provide shade over a portion of our above-ground pool so we'd have a place to get relief from the strong Florida sun. It provides plenty of coverage without shading the entire pool, which is exactly what we wanted. The umbrella was straightforward to set up and feels sturdy once assembled. The canopy provides excellent shade, and the ability to adjust the position helps keep the shaded area where you need it throughout the day. We've also been impressed with how well it handles wind. We've had some pretty strong gusts here in Florida recently and kept a close eye on it. It stayed firmly in place and never felt unstable. We've only had it for a short time, so I can't speak to long-term durability yet, but so far we're very happy with it. If you're looking for a large poolside umbrella that provides excellent shade and feels well built, this has been a great addition to our backyard.. Cindy. Florida. Tue Jun 23 2026

A very nice umbrella! We really like the navy color and the frame is sturdy. Make sure to purchase the correct base. The raising and lowering works smoothly. If you need to pivot the umbrella, you just move the handle into the pivoting gears and that also works so smoothly. I do want to give a shut out to both Wayfair and the business because the first one arrived in a mangled box, and the ribs of the umbrella were bent badly. Wayfair forwarded the complaint to the company and the company made contact within 12 hours and I already had a shipment being processed for the new one.. Andrea. NV. Tue Sep 15 2026

This umbrella is a great gray neutral shade and the fabric feels sturdy. It’s also very well made. The overall quality is excellent. The size and color were exactly as expected making it a great purchase. It’s a very nice addition to our pool area and will provide some much needed shade. We are very pleased with this umbrella……highly recommend!. Sue. Hartland, WI. Sun Jun 21 2026

This is our first cantilever umbrella and we have decided we like it. The stand is behind us so we don’t have to worry about tripping on poles or looking around the pole. I do have concerns about the flimsy feet stand that supposedly going to hold this umbrella up and in place. It will definitely need attachment to the deck or ground….we will be placing a couple of sandbags on it to help it stand.. Ronald. Lawndale, NC. Wed Apr 22 2026

Great umbrella! Had a problem and the manufacturer fixed it immediately. Now, it is fantastic and I am very pleased. Looks great, easy to operate and only assembly was attaching it to the base and removing packaging. Very nice.. Joann. Boston, MA. Sat Jun 20 2026

Oh my! This umbrella is HUGE. I misread the description and thought that there would be a base with it but you have to either buy a weighted based or a mount that goes into the ground. I finally located the base that this umbrella is compatible with (you fill it with water) but I’m inclined to think it may not be enough counterbalance when the umbrella is in its full extended version. Once the base arrives, I will figure out if I need the one that goes into the ground. Anyhow, beautifully made umbrella. Can wait for my first summer cookout!. Marie. Fall City, WA. Tue Apr 09 2024

This 9 ft aluminum cantilever patio umbrella is very nice quality and looks great. It arrived fully assembled with the canopy already on, which was a big plus and saved a lot of time. One thing to note is that the base is not included, which I didn’t realize at first, so we’ll need to purchase one separately. The crank is located in the front under the canopy, so you do have to step under the umbrella to raise and lower it. That said, it operates smoothly, and the tilt feature is very easy to use. Overall, it feels sturdy and well made, and once all the snow melts, it’s going to be perfect for our patio. I’m really looking forward to using it this season.. Stacey. Laytonsville, MD. Thought for the money it was a great purchase. We have a lot of wind on our patio and it seems to be doing the job. Would definitely recommend it. Came quickly, not damaged and packaged really well. Hope to use it for years to come.. Anne. Harleysville, PA. Sat Jul 18 2026

I am going to give it a 4 star from what I have but unfortunately I only received the unbrella and the base cover. The bolts and crank and the base plate which are needed to actually assemble were not in the package. Wayfair is fantastic and are sending the missing items but I am still waiting for them to arrive. Please note the base for the umbrella is not included and must be purchased sep from the umbrella. The fabric is a nice quality and I think it will be great once the other parts arrive!. Nicole. Lillington, NC. Sat Jul 25 2026

It is an awesome cantilever style umbrella, it is heavy and really easy to put together two observations is that the cover for the base is not included, so you have to be careful not to trip over the cross base. Upon some quick research it is possible to buy here on Wayfair too so you don’t have to make two separate orders. The other thing is that I still haven’t figured out how to prevent it from moving side to side with the wind but that is most likely user error. Overall is an excellent deal and a great products.

Anonyme. Sun May 28 2023

UPDATED: The manufacturer of the umbrella called me to discuss the review-which as noted was really about Wayfair and their CS-not the quality of the umbrella-which is great btw. Changing to 5 stars because the actual umbrella is fantastic and they shouldn't be penalized for Wayfair's poor customer service. It was nice to speak with them and suggest how to be clearer with their marketing so folks don't buy the wrong base. The one star is for Wayfair customer service (now changed to 5) and not the product. Please note the description (counter weight base needed) and so I bought one. Got it ready with sand and water. Went to assemble the umbrella and there are no cross braces included. Description lacking is an understatement. So now I have an umbrella with a counter weight base I can’t return and no way to use with this umbrella because this company doesn’t send standard what every other company considers standard to buyer beware only order a counter weight base you can attach the umbrella directly to because no one sells the cross bars typically used with these umbrellas. Interesting to me is under suggested products Wayfair doesn't even link what’s needed. Frustrating.. Sharon. Antioch, TN. Tue Aug 13 2024

This beige umbrella is exactly the color expected and looks great in person. The size is appropriate and provides good coverage without being oversized. It’s fairly easy to open and close making it convenient to use. One note……it’s quite heavy so keep that in mind when carrying or handling it. Overall, it’s a sturdy, attractive umbrella. A great purchase! Base was not included.. Sue. Hartland, WI. Fri Jun 19 2026

The umbrella arrived damaged. It was the second time I’ve had issues with fedex not being careful while delivering this product. I was able to reach out to the company and they promptly responded and sent out a new umbrella. Besides the damage, umbrella will provide a lot of coverage and seems to be of good quality. Can’t wait for the new umbrella to arrive and installation seems easy.. Natalie. Chicago, IL. Thu Jul 16 2026

Upgrade your outdoor space with our 11.8ft Double-Top Round Roman Umbrella. Designed for durability with a sturdy aluminum frame and premium polyester fabric, it offers 360-degree rotation and six adjustable tilt positions. Perfect for year-round use. Note: umbrella base not included.

This 12FT cantilever umbrella is exactly what I was looking for to provide shade over our patio seating area. It’s very sturdy and well-made, and the fabric feels thick and durable. The size offers excellent coverage, and the overall design looks sleek and modern in the backyard. One important thing to note: the umbrella base is not included, and it requires a specific type of base to stay properly balanced. Standard umbrella bases won’t work, so be prepared to either purchase the matching base separately or find one that fits securely. Jorge. Port St. Lucie, FL. Tue May 20 2025

So this was delivered yesterday and it was supposed to be set up by the delivery people, but unfortunately the base that we bought, was recommended by Wayfair, and it doesn’t fit this umbrella. It has to be a two piece umbrella with a round center to attach the base of the umbrella to, not the four piece umbrella weight.. Sa. AZ. Tue Jun 09 2026

The Johanna Cantilever Umbrella is impressive! A very stable and sturdy umbrella. I love the crank handle and the easy lift to tilt mechanism. Arrived quickly and package well with easy straightforward assembly instructions. I love that it bolts directly to the umbrella base. Take Note that the base that Wayfair recommends is NOT compatible with this unit. The 260# base with wheels by Latitude Run is the compatible base. I will include a photo for reference.. Dana.
