[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Cherry Wood Stand-Up Podium the other day. I got it put together and was very impressed with it. It is a beautiful cherry wood. It is very sturdy and strong. It is open in the back with an additional drawer for storing stuff in. It has a 6" rise in the top so people can't see what your doing. It is a very nice piece of furniture . I am very happy with it.

In no time I had a podium I could use for lectures, discussions, meetings, etc... Features include lots of storage area, a shelf as well as a pull out drawer. Very clever. A perfect place to hold books, papers, notes, my drink, pens, keys. It is stylish as well as functional. The cherry wood finish is simply beautiful. I use it often during our men's academic social club. Very professional looking. I am planning on having a few guest speakers booked and meetings will look more professional now. Recommended for all speakers who want to be taken serious.

Assembly was allot easier than I expected, It only took me about an hour to assemble by myself (And I am not very handy). The overall look is very sleek. It feels very sturdy and does not weight too much.
