A Montessori Wooden Activity Table for Toddlers This all-in-one wooden activity table brings six toddler favorites together on one round tabletop. A bead maze, wooden gears, a pastel xylophone, a shape-sorting clock, a peg and hammer set and a mini roadway with wooden cars give little ones something new to discover on every side. The 360° design means two to four toddlers can play at once. What's on the Table Bead maze: Winding tracks that build hand-eye coordination and fine motor control. Wooden gears: Turn and connect gears to explore cause and effect. Pastel xylophone: Early music play and sound exploration. Shape-sorting clock: Shapes, colors and early number recognition. Mini roadway: Wooden cars, a tree and traffic pieces for imaginative play. Peg and hammer: Tapping and pounding for strength and coordination. Built to Grow With Your Toddler Younger toddlers start with the xylophone, gears and bead maze. As they grow, the shape-sorting clock and roadway invite problem solving and pretend play. Each activity builds fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and early STEM thinking, and the open layout lets children explore independently, the heart of Montessori play. Solid wood legs, smooth rounded edges and water-based paints make it a sturdy centerpiece for playrooms, nurseries and daycares. Activity Table or Sensory Table? An activity table like this one has toys built into the tabletop, so there's nothing to fill, spill or clean up. A sensory table holds loose materials like water, sand or rice. For water and sand play, see our water and sand tables.
