Lousy design. We had a sensor failure today for the water fill station. Water would not turn off. Tried cleaning sensor, but no luck. The way the unit was built and installed, there is no way to access the water shut off from the front except to pull front panels off and remove the water fountains. When doing this, the drain disconnects and water from the fill station drains uncontrollably on the floor. Once water is shut off, there is no way to correctly re-install the water fountains with all 4 bolts because there is no way to get in back to put nut on the bolt. If able to give zero stars I would.

The installation manual is incomplete and inadequate. Drain piping for the bottle filler is not addressed, there is no way to access the water filter. The submittal data shows an "optional" access panel that would mount below the unit but is unclear how that would rectify the issues with accessing any of the final connections.

Installing this fountain in a government building; the instructions do not specify that an access panel is needed, but it is. The plumbing, and electrical code in MD require access to both the drain connections, and the outlet it plugs into, respectively. The instructions indicate an optional access panel, but provide no further information, i.e part number. It should be clearly indicated that access is required for installation, as there is no way to make final plumbing connections once the fountain is installed.

My plumbing contractor is telling me that they cannot install or service this drinking fountain without adding two access panels behind the drinking fountain. This is not indicated on any of the installation documents. If rear access is necessary the documents should clearly indicate same or provide more installation detail for accessing drain connections.
