I need to return this. Yes, it folds so easier to store. I was hoping for something more portable. Also, it is WAY TO HEAVY for me to manage. With the weight a bit challenging for me to get the two parts aligned and in place. I will find something more suitable for a table top. Too bad...

I bought it for its width. It is wide enough to fit my laptop and my notes out to the side. The wider the better. This was the widest one I could find. Looks great, and the price was right. I am fairly satisfied with it. Just what I needed. I would be even happier if it was about six inches wider, but it is just wide enough to function pretty well for me. All the other foldable lecterns were way too narrow.
