It was worth it, used it for surprise birthday party!

This purchase is not as expected. I purchased with the understanding that the writing surface material was chalkboard, however chalk does not write well on this surface at all. I noticed also that the packing read that the surface was dry erase, that however, did not work well either. At is point I am not sure what to use.
