The interlocking pieces fit perfectly are stable and do the job. I do my intense HIIT workouts and my neighbor downstairs who sits on her sofa right underneath me says she can't hear a thing over her head. I love the gray because it goes with any color really if you think about it just like white, black and beige. I'm thrilled I found these because I looked high and low everywhere online and either they were not 1" thick, too flimsy a product or too expensive. This is perfect!
