[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids enjoy all things science and STEM based and can often be found dressing up as scientists and creating their own experiments. The instructions were clear and easy for my 9 and 7 year old to follow on their own. At first they were a bit grossed about the idea of ""owl vomit"" and picking the bones out of fur and feathers. However, once they uncovered the skull piece and identified eye sockets and teeth they were hooked. They spent hours at the table dissecting the owl pellets and separating the bones into various categories. Even my 5 and 2 year old joined in the fun and took turns using the tweezers to pick up the bones and look at them under the magnifying glass. My older children quickly began referencing the instruction booklet and using the new terms they had learned as they discussed their findings. After classifying bones and trying to recreated skeletons, my daughter even insisted that she try out the additional activities and now has 2 containers of bones soaking in cola and vinegar for the next 7 days! Her only critique of this product is that she wishes it included a plastic tray instead of plate and real metal tweezers instead of plastic tweezers.
