Some children are hands on learners and these are for them. As soon as they touch the shapes a light seems to come on and they understand the concepts.

Really nice! Just as pictured but had a gross strong chemical smell at first. Took a few days to off gas whatever it was.

Decent material but very easily dented. Overpriced for the quality and size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful idea, my students used these as pieces to a 3d art project they created for Week of the Young child. They were easily painted over and glued together. We currently have them displayed in our front lobby.

I use these along with our homeschool math curriculum (RightStart Math) with my 1st grader. The shapes are spot on as far as I can tell. They're made of wood, and are just as the product images show. Other than saying the shapes are accurate and easy for a 5 year old to handle and identify (or learn to identify, as the case may be) I don't know what else I could say about them. They are smooth, so no concerns about getting splinters and so forth.
