The chairs are sturdy, but they are plastic and the description led me to believe they were wood. I have a wooden table and wanted wood chairs. The function of the chairs is good and they get the job done. Just know they are plastic with a “wood look” I used them because I needed chairs for the holidays. I will be replacing them with real wooden chairs.
