I like the look of the carpet vs rubber although the carpet is slightly slippery, I use a yoga mat over top.

I have had many compliments about this floor covering! We chose this style to protect our newly finished hardwood flooring because of the soft carpeted finish. It stays in place and looks great, while being easy to vacuum clean. One downside is the static electricity that builds up and traps pet hair and grit under the pads.

I bought this to workout upstairs where I have carpet. I works great for me. I like that it looks like a rug and makes the room look better.

Two out of the six tiles are lighter in color. I ended up keeping the purchase as it is good quality and will be in a weight room with low visibility.
