Bought as a floor covering for my home gym. Had to buy 0.5" plywood to go under them as you need a hard surface for these to lay on (slightly plush pile carpet is no good). Not sure about durability, they're not very thick, moving a weight bench across them feels ok but very wary it will rip them at some point. The biggest issue is that yes, they're 24" x 24" but once you interlock them with another tile you lose about 0.5" so if you think a 5x5 grid is 10ft by 10ft you will be sadly mistaken, they will come up short. The positives.... easy to lay. Should be 1.99 a tile, that would represent how they feel.
