Love the overall look and size of item. The sides are very rough in texture. If handling often, splinters in your hands may be a concern.

The wood is lighter than pictured, and I’m not a fan of the diagonal line carvings. I’m still pleased overall. Heavy and sturdy.

Looks great but is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, DO NOT BUY. The carving is beautiful but not rounded over and so each individual point of every carved diamond is as sharp as a knife. In order to move it I have to put on gloves or put a barrier of fabric between my hand and the side of the table to prevent the pointed wood sides from cutting me. I cannot use this in my livingroom as a side table like I intended, as I'm afraid even just walking by it and brushing your leg up against it is enough to cause cuts or scrapes. Definitely a terrible idea if you have kids. Honestly, this should be recalled and never sold again, it's so sharp that it's responsible to sell it. I intend on getting a refund and ordering something that won't hurt people.
