looks cheap faux leather, and one of the buttons was missing

The directions are very clear with photos and the assembly is just as simple for anyone to do. It comes with the tools needed so if you dont have tools no need to make any purchases. I have a fold up frame for temporary guests but to have the appearance of a room when they stay the night so this headboard works. It does look pretty cheap faux leather and faux wood but if thats your style then its nice enough. The little plastic record studs on the sides made to look like metal looks horrible in my opinion but again if thats your style then again this works. Not my style at all and honestly will be replaced eventually.

I like this headboard - but it comes with pros and cons. The first one I ordered, the particleboard shelf was awfully flimsy and some of the screws didn’t line up - I ended up breaking it very quickly with barely any force. Luckily wayfair replaced the entire thing for me free of charge. The second time around it was much better and solid but the light strip has issues where some of the colors only light up on one side or it’s stuck on a mixed color when you press a solid color. Some quality control issues with this and I can’t seem to get ahold of anyone for a replacement. It was a bit tricky to align the brackets to fit my “universal” bed frame brackets. Otherwise I’m pretty happy with how it looks overall - and hope it holds up for many years.

Love this headboard so very much! It was easy to put together, sturdy, and looks very nice in our room. The shelves behind the headboard is hidden, so it’s nice to be able to put stuff back there without it being seen. The charging feature is nice, although it would be nice to have it on both sides. Definitely recommend.

Im happy with this purchase, but we found the instructions pretty hard to follow as far as the placement of the shelf and legs go on the back. We did our best guess and I believe we have it together correctly. The pros are that it is sturdy and the shelf is very handy, keeping a lot of clutter off of the nightstand. It is pretty and seems well made. The cons are the fact that it seems to be made only for platform type beds (my bed is taller), and the pretty flaps with the silver buttons on the sides are not rigid and just seem to flap to the back and dont look like the pictures. Assembly was not as easy as it should have been. I have the headboard sitting on the floor because when I made the purchase, I was not aware that my bedframe did not have anything to attach the headboard frame to. So that is something to check before you buy. All that said, I do like the headboard in my room, and will get a new bedframe to be able to attach it. Maybe then I can get it to the height that will look better.
