These chairs are super comfortable. They tilt back and you can adjust the height. When not playing cards, they provide additional seating for watching TV.

The description of the chairs is very misleading. These chairs are not pine or any other wood. They are some sort of composite that feels rough to the touch and appears and feels like plastic wood. Having said that, these chairs will probably withstand tremendously hard use. Also, the seat height is very, very high. Even my husband's feet did not touch the floor, so be aware that the dimensions are misleading, too. I was totally unhappy with this purchase, but Wayfair (as always) was awesome about taking care of the return. Wayfair is also working on a more accurate description of these chairs for future buyers.
