Comfortable and strong. Exactly what we were looking for.

During a recent kitchen renovation, we did away with our kitchen table and installed a new kitchen island that now doubles as our eating space. We needed new counter top sized stools for one end of the island and I purchased these (medium stain, rein coffee). I love these stools for several reasons. 1. They are real wood, solidly built, and can hold up to 350lbs. Many other stools that I looked at could only support a maximum of 250 lbs. These stools are going to be used a lot, so I wanted something more substantial. 2. The stools were individually packaged and arrived at my house FULLY ASSEMBLED and were easy to unpack. A real plus!! 3. They come in a variety of stains and upholstery finishes, this made it easy to get exactly the color combos I need. 4. Finally, these are high quality and stylish counter stools made in Michigan. This may not be important to some people, but I like to buy USA whenever I can. 5, The only con, is that the bottom feet of the stools did not have floor protectors on them, so I had to add the felt on myself, but other than that, these stools are perfect!
