Poor quality adhesive holds the whole glass top to the screw-in piece. The adhesive gave out with minimal lean force and everything on my table went to the floor. Not worth it unless you plan to use it purely for decoration in a spot where no kids will lean on it.

When I attached the glass top to the base and picked up the table by the glass, the base detached completely and fell onto my foot. This poses a safety concern, as the glass top and the base do not secure together properly.
