Matches the sofa well and I use it as a section of the sofa, forming a lounger. It is very roomy as a storage piece, ao all the lap blankets and extra cushions fit. I don't use a coffee table, so a nice tray can be placed on top for cocktails or my tea.

We love it! Its very sturdy, and the velvet fabric was just the contrast we wanted with our new natuzzi sectional. Its very soft and the dark brown is not too chocolate in a bright way rather, its a warm tone, which gives it a sutle richness to compliment the fine italian leather on our new sectional. It has great storage for pillows and blankets too! I do wish there were more color options on leg colors. We plan to have about 1 inch cut off the legs to make it the perfect height next to our chaise lounger (with a blanket on it) AND to easily move it around in front of sectional (to use as a cocktail table, when having guests). As far asx leg color, we may also faux or etch the legs just a tiny bit to add some darker brown tones. Dont get me wrong, its gorgeous as is! We just need to tone down the lighter wood to flow better with other tables, etc, throughout the area. Buy this one!! The ottoman and legs are well made, and the wood is very sturdy.
