My chair just arrived, and I’m pleasantly surprised at how smoothly and efficiently the unboxing and assembly went. Everything is packaged well and protected from scratching during shipping, but there’s also no styrofoam in the box and very little packing material to throw out: one big shipping box, a few small pieces of cardboard, and a small amount of plastic bags/bubble wrap. The hardware is clearly labeled and neatly separated into numbered compartments (like an advent calendar) and they give you a spare of each one just in case. It was really convenient to be able to just open the compartment that you needed for each step without disturbing any of the other pieces but also having them all in one place. The instructions were very clear, and there were nice details like having “front labeled on the bottom of the seat to help you get oriented. I put it together by myself with the included allen key in about 25 minutes. It helped to have another chair to prop up the seat when assembling the arms/attaching the back, but there really wasn’t any point where I thought, “I wish I had another pair of hands.” I got the beige white color, and the material looks nicer in person than in the photos (more like boucle than terry cloth, thankfully). The seat cushion is a bit more firm and the back cushion is a bit more pillowy, which seems like what you’d want. Comfortable to lean back but you don’t feel like you’re sinking into a pillow. It rolls and raises really smoothly and feels quite sturdy all around. This is just a first impression, but it was a really good one! I was kind of dreading having to deal with a whole mess of cardboard and styrofoam dust flying around and a bag full of fiddly screws, but there was almost no cleanup needed (only one box to break down!!). Just a really smooth and easy setup. Hooray!

The fabric feels a little thin, it’s not glamorous or fancy but so far it’s comfortable enough.

I bought this for my daughter and she likes it as it’s big enough to sit with her legs crossed and she finds it very comfortable.
