This bookcase is a nice height and width however, I should have paid closer attention to the dimensions because I didn’t realize the cubbies weren’t 12” deep, so they can’t fit a 12”storage cube. Additionally, I was disappointed to see that the backing connector pieces show (see second photo) and the cams are not covered. It makes the piece look much cheaper than I expected. On the positive side, the assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. Overall though, if I hadn’t spent so much time putting this together, I would probably return it.

it took two of these bookcases to make a descent one. it's likely the item you receive will have a noticeable defect. good luck.
