This turned out just GREAT! We decided to paint the pieces before assembly. The final look was perfect for a child's room. We loved that the base rotates.

The assembly was very simple. I was happy that gloves were included because I was concerned about getting splinters. It's perfect for my daughter's room.

Really enjoy this bookcase. A couple of the edge piece that connected the pieces had broken off during shipment but the piece was well enough constructed and designed that you couldn’t tell when it was assembled. The quality of the “spin” from the lazy susan device was much better than expected. Our daughter has been spinning this and stacking her books since we set it up a week ago! Absolutely recommend this bookshelf!
