Underneath, the 16-gauge T304 stainless steel body (thicker than the 18-gauge used on many sinks in this range) carries an anti-condensation undercoating and a 3mm sound-dampening pad, so dishes clang less and your cabinetry stays dry. X-shaped water guides and a sloped bottom drain fast with no standing water, and the rear-set 3.5-inch drain clears under-sink room for a garbage disposal.
One honest note: the cutout is 33.8" x 16.3", and this sink needs a minimum 39-inch cabinet. The apron is 1 inch shorter than the bowl depth—that's by design, so the front aligns cleanly with your counter.
