Chaise d'appoint rembourrée en chêne cerise Caruthers (ensemble de 2) (Ensemble de 2)

The chairs are beautiful. Exactly as pictured. I'd been searching for a particular style of replacement chairs to match my existing china cabinet and visually, these were a great match. Based on the price point and description, I assumed that I had chose a quality product. Unfortunately, the construction and materials were sub-par in that they were not the solid wood that I thought they would be. The decorative top portion of the chairs and the front legs appear to be made of plastic, though I was told that it was "manufactured wood or veneer." It feels like plastic! However that is not my biggest complaint. When I sat on the chair, my bottom sank into the cushion. I reached under the chair and could feel the cushion protruding. Upon peeling back the thin fabric covering on the bottom of the chair seat, I was appalled to find a huge hole cut into the plywood support. The hole revealed the cushion supported by straps! Who builds a chair that is made to support up to 250 pounds like that? That hole guarantees the future development of a sink hole in the cushion. Had all of the chairs not been assembled and the packing crushed for recycling, I would have sent them all back. Instead, I am now faced with repairing all of chairs to ensure there viability. Somewhat disappointing, but once repaired hopefully the chairs will be worth the headach.

Pretty, Stately chairs. However, the top molding is not wood. Top was crushed, during in shipping. Open box, so no option to return(

lovely dining seats, they blended very well with my drapes and dining hutch, easy to assemble.

They really look great with my table, they sit well, I have six more to go

Beautiful chairs, but they weren’t the size chairs I needed for my table.
