This vanity shipped in 2 very large, very heavy boxes! Lots of pieces, made it a time consuming process to put together, but definitely worth it. Very heavy duty, sturdy piece. It was packed very nicely, nothing broken or missing. Love my new vanity!

There is more bad than good about this vanity, unfortunately. I will start with the good. It came quickly. It was packaged very well, even to the point of having plastic triangles on the corners so that the pieces didn’t rub. Ingenious idea! There is a LOT of space in this vanity!! And it is really quite a heavy piece. I LOVE the ability to put my jewelry in it and I really love the divider that comes for the big drawer in the middle. As in my previous vanity, I do like the ability to change the light tone on the mirror and the brightness of it too, so that is a good feature. Great wins and worth taking note of! Now to the things that really are a major drawback for me. I was quite disappointed to find out that several of the pieces were not painted well, especially in the trim. It makes the piece look really worn out and not the intentional kind or ‘vintage’ look that is so popular now. I mean like really past it’s prime. Just a poor job over all in the finish. Also, you can see the LED wiring through the mirror! I have never gotten a pre-lit mirror that did that before! It looks VERY tacky! And despite the pictures I took, the vanity light is not very bright. I attribute that to its size, but even when you brighten it as high as it will go it is still not very bright. You will also find that the things you use daily, especially like makeup, will be an issue if you put it on the shelves behind the mirror because you have to move the mirror to the side to get to the things you want to use, thereby making you turn to one side or the other to use the mirror. It won’t be straight in front of you. Not a deal breaker, but worth taking note of. The knobs on the vanity are PLASTIC-like the cheap plastic! SO SO UGLY! I will be replacing them with something else!! The stool is not very stable either. You can easily rocker it back and forth. Not because of weak material but because of how narrow it is. I wound up keeping my stool from my previous vanity. One really upsetting thing to me, besides all of this, was the fact that in the picture there are no wires on the top of the vanity. However, when you put it together the wires from the mirror MUST hang down from the mirror!! There was no place for the wire to run either! SO, my husband drilled a hole in the backboard so that we could put the wire through to the back of the vanity. OF course the instructions were not great and there are a million screws to put in with really bad tools to use, so you will need your own or wind up with tendinitis. We had to take the hinges off and redo them because the directions didn’t clearly show which way the hinges went on-so think that part through real good before you screw them in. Overall, we will make it work simply because it was a nightmare to assemble and took forever. We have tweaked stuff to make it work for us (and I am getting new knobs) but overall, I just cannot recommend it. If you catch it on clearance and get it really cheap, then maybe it’s worth fooling with but this has sadly been quite a disappointing experience for us.

The product looks exactly as pictured. Assembly was fairly straight forward with easy-to-follow instructions.
