The included instructions do not explain how to attach the hammock to the strap and it is not obvious. (All the instructions explain is how to install the wall / ceiling mount.) As of now I don't know how to safely attach this to the strap and therefore there is no way for me to use the product.

Rad rad rad! This has been such a great time for me and my daughters. We have it in the living room along with a pole. We are using it for fitness training!
