I really loved this as an addition to my dining room. I put this together by myself in like an hour. It was really really simple to put together and I did not have any issues. It is very sturdy and of really good quality. Added tons of extra space.

One person put this together in about 6 hours. Instructions were clear enough, hardware was all there, and nothing was missing or obviously damaged out of the box. It’s just a lot of panels, cam locks, and door alignment, so it isn’t a 45-minute job. Plan on an afternoon if you’re doing it solo. Once it’s standing, it looks really nice. The walnut finish photographs well, the arched fluted doors give it more character than a flat-front buffet, and the gold bar pulls dress it up. From across the room it reads like a much more expensive piece. The long top and two open cubbies are useful for a lamp, décor, or a small media setup. That’s the upside. The downside is construction. This is engineered wood with a veneer look, thin panels, and lightweight doors. It sits fine on carpet and feels okay day-to-day, but I don’t trust it to stand the test of time. Corners and edges already feel like the first ding or a slightly too-heavy item on top would show. Doors needed extra fuss to line up, and I wouldn’t expect the finish or hardware to look this good after a few moves or years of real use. Verdict Buy it if you want the look now and you’re not expecting heirloom furniture. Assembly is doable alone if you have patience. Just don’t pretend this is solid wood that will still look this sharp in 10 years.

Now that I’m finished, I’m okay with the buffet from Wayfair. The color doesn’t look “natural” to me, but I’ll get used to it. It fits my space nicely. The instructions were good, but not great. For example, the illustrations for the two types of door hinges were not correct. If you don’t pay super close attention, you will spend a lot of time on the doors redoing the hinges (like I did). I emailed the manufacturer about the hinge images, but they were of no help. (They said they only service the product if it’s from Amazon, not Wayfair.) With the doors, do not tighten the screws too much or they will strip out the particle board very easily.

No complaints with this cabinet. I like the design on the doors. The natural wood color is great and goes with my room decor. Still deciding if I want to put this under my tv or just use it for extra storage else wear. It was very fast to assemble. Works for me.

This sideboard is a wonderful addition to our small dining room. It adds ample storage space with easy to open doors and enough depth for larger items. For holidays, there is plenty of room for decorations. I really like being able to hide items I use occasionally but also displaying items I've not had room for. It did not take too long to put together, about two hours, and it is easy to move around without scratching the floors. I recommend this sideboard.
