My husband put this together on his own in a few hrs. taking his time. Went together easily and arrived with no damages. The only criticism is that we got it with the fireplace insert. They didn't say that if you are not using the center as a shelf, they trim has to be faced inward or the fireplace has no where to get screwed into it. I may not be explaining that correctly but if you get this with the fireplace you will know what I mean. I facing has a large overlap and you screw the fireplace into it. Other than that, we are very happy with the purchase.
