It’s truly a beautiful mantel but I didn’t give five stars because as you can see on the bottom, the wood was cracked by the screws. Also, the screws aren’t actually long enough to grip the French cleat.

This beautiful mantle exceeded all expectations as far as color and quality! The hanging bracket system is flawless and heavy duty. It looks more expensive than it is and I cannot wait to see it mounted in our remodeled living room! I will include another pic soon, so all can see the finished look. So far, I am just thrilled…and please note, it came perfectly packaged upon arrival.

All I can say is, OMG! I had no idea when I ordered this fireplace mantel that it was real wood!!! Pictures don’t do it justice. It is stunning.. I cannot wait to hang this. This was purchased for a house we just bought. We have not moved in yet. The fireplace is not installed yet. Once all that happens I will edit the review to show it hanging on the wall. Cannot wait!!!

It came damaged

It is perfect for over my fireplace and easy to install
