It is very pretty! I needed a headboard that would blend with my walnut furniture as I was upgrading from a queen to a king bed and it is perfect!

This is a beautiful headboard but, having said that, be warned that it is VERY ROUGH. It would tear any pillowcase or scratch any hand, head or arm that came near it. ONLY purchase it if it is just for decoration or show - - NOT PRACTICAL AT ALL. I obviously returned it.

The headboard is sturdy and well made and seems durable. I do wish it were a bit taller to show off the look. I am working on hanging it in order to raise it up about 10".
