These paintable MDF board and batten Waynes coating wall panel kit is extremely easy. Just make sure you’re using a really good glue. I did have to nail the baseboards down. It was only due to the curved wall for my experience. Be cautious to not get these wet until they are painted but all in all it looks great and it was easy to put together and easy to cut down.

This wall panel kit was surprising! Was not sure what to expect but it was very easy to install and customize to your needs. The boards were easy to trim without large tools, just scored what we needed off. Looking forward to painting this and seeing it all together!

This is not very heavy trim wood. It is light weight material along the lines of hard compressed paper. However. It does look very easy to install and it is paintable. I hoped to have it installed by now but my wallpaper is back ordered. I plan to put it in my upstairs hallway on one wall that has a longer area with no doors or windows. It will give it a little additional interest. I will wall paper the walls with this wainscoting on the bottom half of that one particular wall and I think it will be lovely. I will decide on the paint color after the wall paper is up. I am undecided if it should match the woodwork in the hallway or paint it a color in the wallpaper. Fingers crossed.

This definitely has to be the easiest trim project I have ever done. No sanding and measuring of multiple pieces and cuts. A level and construction adhesive is all it took! I do wish the kit came with a couple extra long boards for when you don’t have one continuous run. I did have to purchase an additional board from the big box shop to avoid having to get a whole other set of these. Very easy overall and definitely recommend for a quick project with big impact.

These panels don’t easily line up and there’s some overlapping which will make them more complicated to install. I was looking forward to them fitting perfectly on a wall in our powder room but will have to cut multiple pieces to make them all fit equally.
