Probably 3.5 is more accurate. It’s sturdy and looks good. However, it’s pricey for the materials used. The two units don’t fit closely together which detracts from the appearance of a single unit.

Looks great and not terribly hard to put together.

Is perfect for my space. Assembly was not difficult and didn't take too long. Instructions were clear. The photos and description online were accurate.

Bottom wood plank was drilled incorrectly during manufacturing, resulting in excessive screw holes (see photo). And yes, I followed the directions properly. The reason for this is likely that I was sent the vertically stacking shelves, instead of the horizontal shelves. Either way, the cosmetic deficiency was remedied by me. The lack of detail in fulfilling the order was the major problem.
