Frigidaire 8,000 BTU 115V 350 Sq. Pi. Climatiseur mural intelligent en blanc FHTC083WB1

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Frigidaire A/C unit was installed in the wall along with a new sleeve to replace another, older unit. This Wall Room Air Conditioner is quiet and works very well to cool an approximately 400 sq ft attic bedroom space. The controls can be changed both on the unit and with the included remote control.

Took forever for unit to cool after installation. I attribute this to the fact that there is no vent control to shut off intake from outside and recirculate the cooling air inside. I don’t hear the compressor cycling, but the unit is pretty quiet. The area I’m cooling is about 600 sq ft and doesn’t get below ~80° on a 90° day, which isn’t a problem because we thing that comfortable. Vent controls are cheap mechanical devices and I see no reason to leave it out. Like others have said, the tiny LEDs are impossible to see. I have to climb on the couch to read them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was bought as a replacement for our previous model. Cools and reduces the humidity in our house greatly, especially during this 90° weather and high humidity. Easy to set and operate. Noise level is fairly low.
