I have 2 senior (12 years old) service dogs that were having trouble getting up from the tile floor. I needed something that could be washed, if needed, and yet still looked good in a bedroom. The big surprise is that the dogs like the soft texture and prefer to sleep on it as opposed to their beds many times. I can just throw the rug into my front load washer whenever it “smells like a dog “ and have a fresh clean beautiful rug again! I stays put and doesn’t move. I bought it in the blue that matches the rest of the colors in the bedroom. I would recommend and buy again. It’s not a “fancy” rug, but no one knows it’s a washable rug for the dogs comfort!

Rug is not very heavy, so it causes ripples. We didn’t buy a rug pad since the backing is rubber, but a pad may help. Rug is really pretty.
